Active and Passive Sentence


 Active sentence is a sentence that needs object or transitive sentence passive sentence or passive voice isccurs when object in active sentence functions as subject

     1. Active sentence
·         Simple past tense : verb 2 (ed)
·         Simple present tense : verb 1 (+ s/es)
·         Present perfect tense : has/have + verb 3
·         Present continous tense : is/am/are + verb ing
·         Present future tense : will + verb 1
·         Past perfect tense : had + verb 3
·         Present perfect continous tense : has/have + been + verb ing

Example:

·         they are lifting the stones
·         I will buy a bag

·         the doctor is examining the patient at the moment
·         the rich man will sell his luxurious house to pay for his debt

      2. passive sentence
·         Simple past tense : was/were + verb 3
·         Simple present tense : Is/am/are + verb 3
·         Present perfect tense : has/have + been + verb 3
·         Present continous tense : is/am/are + being + verb 3
·         Present future tense : will + be + verb 3
·         Past perfect tense : had + been + verb 3
·         Present perfect continous tense : has/have + been + being + verb 3
